Meet the Mobile area’s 22 best high school softball players in 2025 - al.com

The top high school softball players in Coastal Alabama comprises AL.com’s Terrific 22, chosen regardless of class, position or school year.
Eight teams from the Mobile area earned spots in the AHSAA state championship tournament with Class 4A Orange Beach winning its fifth straight state title while Class 6A Saraland fell in the championship.
Class 4A Satsuma finished third, Class 5A Faith Academy and Class 3A Mobile Christian were fourth, Class 7A Fairhope and Class 1A Leroy tied for fifth and Class 7A Daphne tied for sixth.
Orange Beach was ranked the ASWA Class 4A No. 1 team throughout the season and achieved a top three ranking in two national polls. The Makos talent level put six players among the Terrific 22.

The Terrific 22 and honorable mention were selected by the AL.com sports staff with nominations and input from coaches.
It includes players from Mobile and Baldwin counties as well as the four counties that border Mobile and Baldwin (Escambia, Monroe, Clarke and Washington).

Batted .477 with region second-best 16 home runs, 43 RBIs, 17 doubles, 3 triples, region second-best 72 runs, region best 39 walks, no strikeouts in 153 at-bats, 9-of-9 stolen bases, .579 on-base, 1.520 OPS. Class 6A Player of the Year and first team all-state.
